I don’t normally write reviews but just had to. My dad lost his leg last year and can only get around in a wheelchair. My mum wanted a car that she could take him out while he’s sat in his wheelchair. We researched online for WAV dealers because main dealers only sell brand new cars. Southern Mobility Vehicles came up on our search. I phoned them before viewing their cars. They seemed very friendly. On arrival they had a good selection of mobility vehicles to choose from. We were shown around and how the ramps and straps worked for transporting someone in a wheelchair. We tried the vehicle out. It was in lovely condition and had been well looked after with a low mileage. They were so nice and made us feel relaxed, they weren’t pushy, nothing was too much trouble and so helpful. My mum part exchanged her vehicle. They sorted all the paperwork, road tax and VAT and delivered her mobility vehicle to her home and took her other vehicle away. At no extra cost. She’s got a 2-year warranty including brake down cover which comes with all their vehicles. They replied to all my emails. Even posted back receipt and a cd my mum had left in the vehicle she part exchanged. How thoughtful was that! My mum loves her mobility vehicle and you should of seen the big smile my dad had. He was so pleased to be able to get out and about. If you’re looking for a mobility vehicle, I can totally recommend this family company. Friendly, reliable, helpful, stress free.
