I recently outgrew my ride on mobility scooter and needed something bigger. I managed to get the scooter I wanted, but it was too big to go into my car. Time came to source a new vehicle so I visited ‘Southern Mobility Vehicles’ premises to check out what was on offer. What an amazing experience! I was met by Elliott, a young man who knew what he was talking about, passionate about vehicles and a credit to modern youth. I told him the details of the scooter and he was immediately able to eliminate some vehicles as unsuitable as either too small or too big. He was not pushy or trying to get me to buy the most expensive vehicle and got some out in order I could check each one. We were joined by Patrick who was knowledgeable as to what vehicles were due in and when. After some discussion, it was agreed that I would wait and see a VW Caddy Maxi that was due in. When the vehicle arrived, I again visited and was met by both Patrick and Elliott who showed it to me. It was obvious to us all that my new scooter would be a snug fit and the pair suggested before any decision was made, it should be tried in the vehicle. Agreement was made with ‘Mobility and Comfort’ of Bognor Regis to bring the scooter to the premises. When it arrived we were joined by Jim who was ready with his toolbox should any minor operation be needed. It fit. Snuggly, admittedly, but it fits. Good for me. The vehicle was bought and I haven’t looked back.
