Living in south-east London, I had looked at a number of websites across south-east England. On Southern Mobility’s website they seemed enthusiastic about the vehicles they had for sale, and the detailed information on each vehicle was very helpful. The vehicles on the website were divided into categories such as “wheelchair up front”, which is what I wanted – this saved me a lot of time and effort.
I was impressed with the reviews, particularly where people living a considerable distance away were accommodated and, when I telephoned stating an interest, I immediately saw that they were only too willing to help. I was concerned as to whether my (powered) wheelchair would fit in the particular vehicle I was interested in – to put my mind at rest, Peter immediately offered to get the car driven to the wheelchair supplier in Tonbridge, a considerable distance.
When I finally took possession of the vehicle, Jim delivered it to my home address, a two hour drive away. On the various occasions I spoke to Jim, he was knowledgeable and took the time to explain things clearly. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his colleagues.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Southern Mobility Vehicles to someone looking for a good customer experience, with dedicated, enthusiastic and helpful staff.
